The FAA reopened following the government shutdown.

Embraer delivered 25 business jets during the third quarter of 2013 to bring the company's total number of deliveries for first nine months of 2013 to 66. The 25 deliveries consisted of six Phenom 100s, 15 Phenom 300z and four Legacy 650s.

Freestream Aircraft, a global business jet broker, sold the first pre-owned G650 for $72 million. The aircraft was delivered to a UK customer and then sold to a Thai businessman.

ExecuJet opened a new general aviation terminal at Indonesia's Bali International Airport.

Sue Carriere and Ty Little - two lawyers with a combined total of over 25 years of legal and aviation experience - opened a new aviation law firm in Denver named Carriere and Little.

FlightSafety appointed Ron Ladnier to replace Mike Sangster as the vice president of FlightSafety Services Corporation. Sangster is retiring.

Rockwell Collins launched its EVS-3000, a new enhanced vision system for business jet pilots.
