In the milestone first Japanese order for Airbus' A350XWB, Japan Airlines selected 31 of these widebody jetliners covering 18 A350-900 and 13 A350-1000 versiones. Airbus President and CEO Fabrice Brégier and Japan Airlines President Yoshihanu Ueki signed the purchase agreement on 7 October 2013.
